Anna Boudinot is a marketing strategist and founder of Mustard & Moxie, where she helps nonprofits and small businesses grow sustainably and strengthen their local communities. Her work focuses on clarifying brand story, identifying the right audiences, and building marketing strategies that organizations can realistically maintain over time.
She holds an MBA with a specialization in marketing from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, where her capstone project examined the factors influencing the success of Latino-owned businesses. Anna brings a research-driven, executive-level perspective to her work, translating proven marketing strategies from large corporations into practical, accessible approaches for community-based organizations.
Before founding Mustard & Moxie, Anna built her expertise in corporate marketing and communications, leading multi-channel initiatives across B2B marketing, PR, sales enablement, and thought leadership. That experience continues to shape her approach today: she helps nonprofits apply sales strategy to fundraising, and supports small businesses in treating marketing as an integrated, ongoing function—not a one-time effort.
Anna’s undergraduate education in filmmaking at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts informed her ability to develop clear, compelling narratives. She brings a dual perspective to her work: Grounded in both creative storytelling and business strategy, she ensures that branding and marketing efforts are not only distinctive, but also drive measurable outcomes.
She works closely with nonprofit leaders and small business owners through consulting and hands-on support, and leads workshops that equip organizations to take ownership of their marketing. Her clients leave with focused messaging, a defined audience, and a sustainable marketing plan aligned with their goals.
Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Anna is now based in Long Beach, California. She mentors first-generation college students from low-income families, a commitment that grew out of her work with 826LA and Minds Matter Southern California. She has a long-standing love of estate sales, used bookstores, and animal rescue.
